How to clean the scale of stainless steel water bottles
Use white vinegar to clean
1. Pour white vinegar and water: Pour an appropriate amount of white vinegar and water into the kettle, the ratio is generally 1:2, and the ratio can also be adjusted appropriately according to the thickness of the scale.
2. Heating: Put the kettle on the stove and heat it until the water begins to boil, then turn the fire to medium-low and continue heating for about 15 minutes.
3. Soak: After turning off the fire, let the hot vinegar water solution soak in the kettle for a few hours, preferably overnight, so that it can dissolve the scale more fully.
4. Cleaning: Pour out the vinegar water solution and gently wipe the inside with a sponge or soft cloth. If there is stubborn scale, you can use a toothbrush to scrub it.
5. Rinse: Rinse the inside and outside of the kettle carefully with clean water to ensure that there is no residual white vinegar smell.
Use baking soda to clean
In some cases, white vinegar may not be able to completely remove all scale after heating, so you can combine baking soda.
1. Prepare baking soda paste: Mix appropriate amount of baking soda and water in a bowl to form a thick paste.
2. Apply baking soda: Apply baking soda paste evenly to the area where scale accumulates and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
3. Scrub: Use a toothbrush or sponge to scrub the area where baking soda is applied, and stubborn scale will be effectively removed.
4. Rinse: Finally, rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water to ensure that no baking soda residue remains.
